Everyone is always late with something in their life, whether it be handing in a home work assignment or paper or showing up late to an event. Everyone usually uses the term when they are late to an event or place that they want to show up “casually late” or “fashionably late.” But when is it ok to be late and when not to be late?
It is certainly not ok to be late when you are handing in a home work assignment or paper that is due at certain time or certain day because you are getting graded on it. But it is ok to show up to certain events late because you do not always want to be the first person there. Everyone that is usually late to everything will almost always say that they are going to be late for their own wedding or late to their funeral.
These expressions are used when people are always late for everything and need to have a clock in front of them at all times.
So when you do think it is appropriate to be late and when no to be late?
